You're a member with a secret. A guest who saw too much from the terrace. Someone with a side to protect and a lie to keep.

A year ago, on the night before Halloween, Alyssa went off the terrace. Every person in the house was masked, because that was the rule. Forty witnesses, and not one of them can tell you whose face was under any of the masks. It was never solved, and everyone went home. None of them think they killed her.

On October 30, the two houses meet again for the first time since. Thirty people sit down at Minervas, and this time, they'll find out who killed her.

You are one of them.

This is the night you scheme with strangers and leave with friends. The two houses, The Gilded and The Others, sit side by side, and behind the masks, no one knows who's on which. You'll dig for the truth over dinner, trade secrets between courses, accuse the masked face across the table, and laugh harder than you expected to. Everyone at the table knows something. Some are guarding secrets. Some are protecting lies. By dessert, a name will be spoken aloud, and someone at this table will not like the answer.

No acting experience needed, no pressure, nobody on the outside looking in. You get your character ahead of time, you show up, you play. Come as a couple, bring a group, or come solo and meet your fellow suspects. Wear any mask you like and your best Halloween look.

The Evening

5:00 PM arrivals and cocktail hour. Find your seat, keep your mask on, step into character. Then dinner and investigation, served in courses as the questioning deepens and the masks start to slip. By dessert, the final accusations are made and the truth is revealed.

What's Included

Dinner is included. The drinks are on your conscience.

A three-course dinner with house salad and bread, your choice of entrée, and chocolate ganache cake. Soda, iced tea, or coffee included. Cocktails and wine are available for purchase at the cash bar, open throughout the evening.

Chicken Oscar
Charbroiled chicken, grilled shrimp, asparagus, béarnaise, white cheddar mashed potatoes.
Honey Pepper Salmon
Oven roasted, honey and cracked pepper, béarnaise, white cheddar mashed potatoes.
Ratatouille
Linguine with roasted zucchini, eggplant, bell pepper, tomato basil sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano, Calabrian chili oil.
Cajun Chicken Linguine
Cajun spiced chicken breast, carrots, broccoli, bell peppers, mushrooms, almonds, butter, white wine cream sauce.

Dress Code

Dress like you belong to a secret society. Think dark cocktail attire: black, deep red, gold, velvet, evening wear. Then add any mask you like. Want to lean darker or more Halloween? Go for it.

Masks stay on all night, so choose one you can eat, drink, and talk in. Half masks and eye masks work best. Please leave props and weapons at home, realistic or not. Forgot your mask? We'll have a few spares at the door.

The Details

Friday, October 30, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Minervas in downtown Sioux Falls. $125 per guest, dinner included. Only 30 seats.

Note: no refunds or cancellations once you claim your seat. The one exception is if we have to cancel the event, in which case you get a full refund or a seat at the next one. Your call.
